For now, though here are our current favorites, our best Nook Covers.  There is something to suit every budget and style.  All come in multiple colors and have something particular to offer.  Most importantly all are designed with your Nook Reader in mind so will offer good protection, a decent fit and in the case of book-style covers, access to all controls.

The Best of the Best Selling Nook Covers

1. The Boxwave Leather Nook Cover

First up we have the Boxwave Cover for Nook.  This is one of the cheapest Nook Reader covers around today.   Priced at around $15 it offers a budget solution to keeping your ebook reader out of trouble.

This puts it firmly in our favor without having to do much else.  Particularly as many of the B&N Nook Covers are so expensive.  Yes they might be nice, and even designer branded but the Nook reader is not a hugely expensive gadget and it seems silly to spend half the amount you spent on the reader just to buy some flashy cover or case for it!

A form fitting leather case that is lightweight enough to not hinder your reading experience, but does offer some padding and protection to the device.  The clasp fits neatly around the back so won’t put pressure on the display and everything you need is easy to reach.  And, it comes in a range of colors too – red patent is pretty dazzling or for a more traditional look choose the sienna tan.

Yes this is a cheap Nook Cover but it is also simple and does all you need really from a simple book-style case.  We cannot knock it when you consider the price tag and just how much some of the competition ask for theirs!

2. Hard Cube Carry Case for Nook with eLight

Secondly its the Hard Cube Carry Case for Nook.  Again this is real bargain buy, sold at the moment for under $15 and they even throw in a black book light too.  With full double zippers, and a water resistant outer, this gives you the most protection for your Nook Reader.

For those that carry their Nook out and about regularly, a decent carry case such as this one from Hard Cube is a sensible option.

But, it does have its drawbacks.  Yes, in theory you can read your Nook inside its case.  But if you think about it, this is never going to be as comfortable as reading the Nook in either a soft leather book style jacket, or with nothing at all.  Personally I would slip the reader out of its Hard Cube Carry Case when actually reading, particularly if I needed to use the touch screen control as it would simply be far easier.

Perhaps the best thing is to go with a Hard Carry Case and a soft skin type cover, if you need the added protection of a hard case for the Nook.  Again you have a choice of colors (currently blue, pink, red or black), and with the book light thrown in all under $15 we simply had to include it in our list of current best of the Best Selling Nook Covers list.

3. Javoedge Cherry Blossom Nook Covers

I know we have mentioned the great JAVOedge Cherry Blossom Cover for Nook before.  But not without good reason.  This is a high quality, mid price Nook Cover that gives a lot more style, and a superior ride to your Nook Reader.

You can check out more details at our previous JAVOEdge Cherry Blossom Nook Cover Review post.  The fabric and stitching is all good quality, and the textured feel keeps the Nook itself firmly in your hands.

We like the snug fit but easy way the Nook slides simply into the back.  Then a magnetic closure keeps the device protected from dust or dirt when you are carrying it out and about.

The cut outs are well designed to ensure you get complete access to all controls, and you get to choose from understated browns, to bright blues and greens or outrageous purple designs.  What is not to love.  And, yes this is a little more expensive than the last two models, but it is still a low priced Nook Cover.  In fact the prices currently on offer with amazon mean you can buy the JAVOedge Nook Covers cheaper here than if you actually try to buy direct from the manufacturer – crazy but true!

Best Pink Leather Nook Covers – JAVOedge Pink Croc Book Style Case for the Nook

In the spirit of fairness, and because sometimes this girl just fancies looking at pretty pink things to keep all those cool electronics safe, I thought we should check out some Pink Nook Covers. First up (seeing as we’ve already shown you how tasty JAVOedge Nook Covers can be) is this pink leather cover from them, for the Nook.

JAVOedge Pink Croc Nook Case

Firstly, this is a dusky pink number made in genuine leather that is crocodile skin effect.  The interior though is fabric lined.  Yes I would prefer it to be suede but still its soft and will stop the Nook getting scratched so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much hey?

This is a simple book style Nook jacket.  The old version had rather cheap looking elastic corner straps.  Thankfully this one has the same simple, slip in design of their Cherry Blossom range.  Simple to put into its case and simple to take out again.  To be honest you probably won’t take the Nook out again since this is lightweight and really comfortable to hold whilst reading.  But you never know!

This might be a great little Nook cover in pink but I would definitely hold out for another week and get their updated version which will allow you to simply slide the device inside like their Cherry Blossom designs.  But hey if elastic straps are something you are less sniffy about than me, go ahead and buy their old one!

Don’t worry you get the obligatory paperwork pocket and pen holder with this pink croc Nook cover too.  Whatever would we do with our business cards otherwise!

So is it the best pink leather Nook cover out there?  Well it is certainly high up on the list.  For an affordable, lightweight design in comfy leather it’s hard to beat, but here at the Best Covers and Cases site we’re bound to find one eventually!  For now though, the JAVOedge pink Nook cover will more than do and don’t worry no crocodiles were harmed in the making of this case!

JavoEdge certainly have the edge when it comes to Funky Nook Covers. Nothing with these is staid or boring.  Yet, even though they look like its all about the pretty patterns, these are tremendously well designed with great usability and superb internal detailing.

True enough these are darned pretty Nook Covers, but they’re also pretty well made, really practical and a great deal more interesting than so many other eBook reader cases out there.

The eReader slides inside the back cover easily but with a tight enough fit that you know your Nook isn’t going anywhere either.  Internally you get pockets for a few bits and pieces to be carried around with you.  A magnetic clasp ensures the book style jacket stays firmly shut whilst travelling in your bag. This I think is a real “must have” extra as it is all too common for bits and pieces to shuffle around our purses and make their way into non-secure cases such as this.  Glad the JavoEdge Cherry Blossom Nook Cover is not one that could fall victim to the horrors of my cluttered hand-bag.

This offers those who do not want leather a genuinely high quality alternative.  Book style covers are extremely popular for eBook Readers of all types.  I guess we cannot get that old-fashioned love of a paperback in our hands out of our heads even when we’re reading on electronic ink.  This fabric model with its good stitching and nicely textured material gives a something a little bit different to all those boring leather choices.  A Japanese floral print that is neither flashy nor too girly, this is a top Nook Cover and I can totally see why it is one of the current best sellers.
