I guess after all that gushing about the iPod Touch PixelSkin and iPad PixelSkin we had to mention the new PixelSkin Case for the iPhone 4. If you like the look and feel of highly textured rubber you are in luck. If like color you have a few to choose from, but come on who really wants anything other than black rubber for their cute little iPhone?
Using the PixelSkin cases from Speck is always a doddle and this one is no different. You just place the bottom of the iPhone into the skin (yep make sure to line the connector up properly) then pull over the front corners. Since this is a matt rubber case it grips itself into place keeping the iPhone nice and snug in the process. If you are used to the PixelSkin iPhone 3 cover you will notice that this one is a little smaller due to leaving the low home button uncovered. No worries, the silicon should still grip well.
Of course your fab new phone is totally usable in its new soft shell since the Rubberized touch-thru button covers and cutouts for plug port, camera and hold switch keep everything important easy to access.
Again you don’t get a cheap screen cover thrown in. But the raised bezel around the front of the phone should keep it away from coming into contact with any surfaces that could scratch or otherwise damage it. And, if you feel the need for additional screen protection they are cheap enough to buy seperately and that way you can be sure you get a good fit.
